About the Role

Hell Craft Tech is looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern – Next.js to join our Engineering team. This is a hands-on internship where you'll work on live client projects and internal products, gaining real-world experience in building scalable web applications.

As an SDE Intern, you'll collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to develop modern, responsive, and high-performance applications using the latest web technologies. You'll be mentored by experienced engineers while contributing directly to production-ready software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

  • Build responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS.

  • Integrate REST APIs and work with backend services.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces.

  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.

  • Learn and adopt modern development workflows using Git and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Familiarity with React.js and Next.js.

  • Basic knowledge of TypeScript.

  • Experience with Git/GitHub.

  • Understanding of responsive web design principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Node.js or Express.js.

  • Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and authentication.

  • Basic understanding of deployment platforms like Vercel or Docker.
